Kannur: Two swords along with seven iron rods and a knife were found from a spot near the district office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kannur on10th October, Tuesday.

According to the sources, it is said that the rusted weapons were found at a public plot adjacent to the compound of the rented house now functioning as the district BJP office.

It was also reported that the weapons were first found by workers of the Kannur Corporation in morning.

The district BJP president P Sathyaprakash said that the weapons could have been planted to malign the party. “There is no need for the BJP to keep those weapons at its district committee office,” he said
