Bhatkal: Islamic scholars along with local MLA Mankal Vaidya witnessed the grand inaugral ceremony of 'METRO Steels', a new hardware showroom here at Bhatkal. It is located across NH-66, near to Rainbow flooring in Bhatkal.

The store was inaugrated on 8th October evening around 4:30 by Bhatkal MLA Mankal Vaidya by ribbon cutting, while Chief Qazi of Markazi Khalifa Jamat-Ul-Muslimeen Maulana Khwaja Mohiddin Akrami Nadvi led the supplications.

Addressing the ceremony, Gen secretary of Bhatkal JamatUl Muslimeen, Maulana Talha Madani said that earlier, the people of Bhatkal used to turn towards gulf countries for business. But now, its a matter of pride and happiness for us that people are coming forward with the spirit of entrepreneurship and starting their endeavors in their own city. Also the current situation in the gulf countries are not going good as before. He further said that business is one among the prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Sunnah, if it is done as per the Shariah law. Concluding his speech, he wished and gave his heartiest​ congratulations to the managing director Irshad Gangawali.

The ceremony began with the recitation of versus from Holy Quran by Maulana Shaoor Ruknuddin. 

On this occasion, hundreds of locals including builders and other dignitories were present in the ceremony.
