Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) is all set to become India’s first Aadhaar-enabled airport by December 2018 with complete biometric boarding system. The Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) had conducted a two-month trial period in February. According to a Request For Proposal (RFP) issued by BIAL, the KIA is expected to be completely Aadhaar-enabled by December 2018.

The Gujarat High Court on Monday commuted the death sentence to 11 convicts, in connection with the 2002 Godhra train burning case, into life imprisonment.
On March 1, 2011, the special SIT (Special Investigation Team) had convicted 31 people under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections related to murder, attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy. It had acquitted 63.

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Sunday clarified that no FIR has been filed against Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief B.S. Yeddyurappa and Union Minister for Fertiliser and Chemical Ananth Kumar in the leaked video matter.
