New Delhi: The wife and daughter of an IAS officer B K Bansal, who was arrested on Sunday for graft, ended their lives on Tuesday in New Delhi.

Satyabala (58) and Neha (27) were reportedly found hanging in two separate rooms of a flat in Neelkanth Apartments of Madhu Vihar area.   

The CBI on Monday said that they had arrested DG of Corporate affairs, BK Bansal, who was dealing with alleged violations by a Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company.

The CBI officials had reportedly nabbed Bansal along with a middleman from a hotel on Saturday while a bribe was allegedly being exchanged for showing favours to the firm.
