Application invited from nurses, helpers
Karwar: Applications have been invited from eligible nurses, part-time doctors, helpers, trained social workers for appointment as temporary staff in Senior Citizens Welfare Centre. Applications must be submitted along with documents before July 15 to Senior Citizens Helpline Centre, Office of the Superintendent of Police.

Applications invited from economically poor for housing
Karwar: Applications have been invited from economically poor families residing in Karwar City Municipal Council (CMC) limits to provide housing.
One house will be provided to one family under new scheme titled 'Housing for All'. Annual income should be between Rs 87,000 and Rs 3 lakh under AHP unit.
For beneficiaries who will construct houses themselves, annual income must be Rs 87,000 and those constructing under credit linked subsidy scheme, annual income must be Rs 3 lakh to Rs 6 lakh.
Those eligible can submit filled in applications with necessary documents in prescribed format which can be obtained from CMC.
Online applications invited for setting up service units
Karwar: Online applications are invited along with project proposals from prospective beneficiaries desirous of establishing enterprise/starting of service units under CMEGP (Chief Minister's Employment Guarantee Programme). Applications can be downloaded or sent online through the website www.cmegp.kar.nic.in
July 16 is last date to submit applications.

The workshop will be held at Ankola on June 27 at 11:00 am, at Honnavar on June 27 at 3 pm, at Kumta on June 28 at 11 am, at Bhatkal on June 28 at 3 pm, at Siddapur on July 1 at 11 am, at Sirsi on the same day at 3 pm, on July 4 at Mundgod at 11 am, at Yellapur on same day at 3 pm and on July 8 at Joida at 11 am and at Haliyal at 3 pm.
The workshops will be held at respective taluk panchayat offices. At Karwar, it will be held at District Industrial Centre at Shirwad on June 29 at 1 pm.

Pre-matric scholarship
Ankola: Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited applications for pre-matric scholarship, from backward classes students studying 1st to 10th standard in Ankola taluk.
Students must submit required documents to headmaster of their schools, before June 25.
