Mangaluru: An accident was reported here at Jeppinamogaru in the city, where a man was crushed to death after coming underneath the lorry on 26th September, Tuesday.
The deceased person has been identified as Babu Ballaya (40), a resident of Jeppinamogaru.
According to the sources, Babu was riding on his scooter from Pumpwell towards his house when a lorry bearing registration number "KL-02-AN-7779", which was plying towards Kasargod dashed into Babu's scooter.
It was gathered from sources that the lorry driver suddenly changed lanes causing Babu to lose control. He then came under the lorry's Tyre, getting crushed to death on the spot.
The police arrived at the spot and a case has been registered.
