Karwar: Out of the 29 IAS officers transferred by the State government on Thursday, three prominent position holding officers from the coastal belt were transferred, one of them being Uttara Kannada Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer and Ramprasad Manohar who has been transferred as deputy commissioner of Ballari.

Mr. Manohar was previously posted as Assistant Commissioner and then subsequently promoted as ZP CEO of Uttara Kannada. He undertook many  important schemes like DASHA, Suryayojana, Abdul Kalam fellowship among others. 

The new Zilla Panchayat chief executive officer to Uttara Kannada district has not yet been appointed. Till the new appointment, Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner SS Nakul will hold additional charge as ZP CEO
