Sirsi: Journalist Radhakrishna Bhat Bhatkal has been chosen for Shyamrao Award, instituted in memory of journalist late K. Shyamrao, according to a release by the Uttara Kannada District Working Journalists Association president G. Subray Bhat Bakkal on Sunday.

The award includes a cash prize, a citation and a memento.

The award will be conferred at a programme to be held at Bhatkal on July 1, the release added.
