    Incessant rain continued to lash the district on Wednesday, invigorating the farmers who started sowing. The fear of sea erosion continued in Maravanthe, Kirimanjeshwara and Padukere in Kota and Padukere in Malpe. Two houses in Padukere in Kota may get damaged due to sea erosion. The locals demanded that the government construct a protection wall of about 400 metres, by placing boulders.
