Bhatkal: Free textbooks, notebooks and uniforms were distributed at Durgapermeshwari High School Alvekodi in Shirali of Bhatkal taluk. The function was inaugurated by President of School Betterment Committee Narayan Demne.

On the occasion, he praised the performance of the school and promised to provide better facilities so that there is a better improvement and also it can set an example for other schools. 

Member of School betterment committee Ram Moger also praised the the children's success at the academic level. He inaugurated the children's school cabinet and parliament. "Along with the learning, leadership quality should also be nurtured and a happy environment should be created for the better learning", he said. The headmaster of the school K B, Madival said his welcome speech while Prakash Patgar compered the programme and Venkatesh Gubbihitlu presented the vote of thanks.

On this occasion, Thimappa Honnemane, Durgadas Moger, Mahadev Moger, Santhosh Naik, Krishna Naik and many other members were also present.
