Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has won the Bawana by-poll by a margin of more than 24,000 votes on Monday.
Retaining its seat in a much-needed win, AAP's Ram Chander gained 59886 votes and defeated Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Ved Prakash.
BJP's Ved Prakash stood second and ahead of Congress Party with 35834 votes.

A special CBI court today sentenced Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh to 10 years in prison after his conviction in a 2002 rape case that triggered violence leaving 38 dead and scores injured in Haryana.

The Supreme Court on Monday questioned the Gujarat Government for slow trial over self-styled accused godman, Asaram Bapu, in connection with a rape case registered against him.
There are separate rape cases registered against the accused in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
