Byndoor: In a bus-bike collision on National Highway 66 at Kirimanjeshwara village near Byndoor on 28th August, Monday, the youth riding the bike died instantly on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Shrikanth Karvi (24 yrs).
According to the sources, the express bus which was traveling from Kundapur to Bhatkal rammed head-on into Shrikanth’s bike near Kirimanjeshwara on NH66. The impact was severe and Shrikanth died on the spot.
A case has been registered in Byndoor police station.
