Bhatkal: In a proud academic milestone, New Shams School, Bhatkal, has achieved a 100% pass rate in the ICSE Grade X examinations for the academic year 2024–2025.
According to the school’s principal, Mr. Liyaqat Ali, a total of 83 students, including 31 boys, appeared for the examinations—and all 83 successfully passed. He noted that since adopting the ICSE syllabus 11 years ago, the school has consistently maintained a 100% result record every year, a testament to its commitment to academic excellence.
Of the total students, 41 secured distinction, 32 achieved first class, nine passed in second class, and one student cleared the exam in third class. The school, which operates under the management of Idara Tarbiyat-e-Ikhwan, expressed immense satisfaction over the results and credited the success to the hard work of the students, the dedication of the teachers, and the unwavering support of parents.
As per a press release issued by the school, Anam Ruknuddin, daughter of Mr. Mohammed Yakub Ruknuddin, topped the school with an impressive score of 95.6%. She was followed by Faiha, daughter of Mr. Faiyaz Ahmed Siddibapa, who secured 94.8%. Alveena, daughter of Mr. Mohammed Tazeem Bidchol, scored 92%, while Anam Kazia, daughter of Mr. Mohammed Sheez Kazia, and Aysha Shabandri, daughter of Mr. Mohammed Aseem Shabandri, each scored 91.8%. Mohammed Azhan, son of Mr. Abdul Azeez Qadri, also featured among the top scorers with 90.4%.
In addition to overall academic excellence, several students earned full marks in individual subjects. Ahmed Damda Fakki, Faiha, and Aysha Shabandri scored a centum in Urdu. Anam Ruknuddin secured a perfect score in Social Studies, while Alveena, Anam Ruknuddin, and Faiha scored full marks in Physical Education.
Congratulating the students on their achievement, Mr. Ismail Mohtesham, President of the school management, said the results reflect the combined efforts of students, teachers, and parents. He emphasized that such consistent performance is the outcome of sincere dedication, focused mentorship, and the school's commitment to holistic development.
