Karwar: A youth driving a bike, lost control over the vehicle near ISKCON temple on Habbuwad Road in Karwar on 25th August, Friday evening, and died on the spot.

The deceased was identified as Santosh Ulvekar (23) of Bandishitta in Karwar taluk.

Sources said that his bike skid on the road due to high speed. He received severe injuries over the head and succumbed to the injuries on the spot.

Traffic police have registered a case.
