Within days of introducing new ₹200 notes, the finance ministry on Tuesday ruled out re- introduction of ₹1,000 currency bills that were scrapped as part of the demonetisation move last November.
“There is no proposal to reintroduce 1,000 rupee note” said Economic Affairs Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg in a tweet.

A unity march would be held from Farengipete to Mani in Dakshina Kannada district on September 12 with the slogan restore peace and harmony, district-in-charge minister Ramanath Rai said today.
