Udupi:  A man lost Rs 1,06,826 to online fraudsters, who posed as bank staff and sought updates of KYC.

The victim, a retired bank employee, had received a message on his mobile phone on blocking his account, with contact details. Later, he received a call in the name of bank’s customer care and the caller demanded details of his account and OTP received. After revealing the OTP, the money was withdrawn. A case has been registered at the CEN station.
