Mangaluru: A team of CCB officials of Mangaluru city police arrested two persons while attempting to sell ambergris worth Rs 3.2 crore at Karavali ground,
Lalbagh.

Acting on a tip-off, a team led by inspector Shyam Sundar HM conducted a raid and arrested Nimith, 26, from Kuvettu and Yogish, 41, from Punjalkatte in Belthangady. The value of the seized 3.2 kg ambergris is around Rs 3.2 crore on the international market, police said. Along with the ambergris, the police have also seized two mobile phones.

A case has been registered at Barke police station and an investigation is on.
