Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured a decision on release of Rs 4,702 crore drought relief to Karnataka for kharif crop loss in 2016 will be taken on January 4, State Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today said.

The movements of international flights at Mangaluru International Airport were disrupted on Saturday as a private airlines cancelled the Mangaluru-Sharjah flight.
According to the director of the airport J.T. Radhakrishna, the arrival and departure of international flights were delayed due to adverse weather conditions in West Asia. Many flights could not stick on to the schedule.
