Karwar: By-elections for six seats of Gram Panchayats in Karwar, Ankola, Honnavar, Sirsi, Haliyal and Joida tluks which remained vacant for various reasons will be held on 12th February.

The last date for submitting nomination papers is February 2. The scrutiny would be on February 3. Last date for withdrawal is February 6. Election would be held on February 12 from 7 am to 5 pm. and counting of votes would be on February 15 in the taluk headquaters, deputy commissioner said, in press release.
