Bhatkal: Six students of Anjuman college for Women, Bhatkal have secured top university ranks in the final examinations held in May/June 2016
The top ranks are in all the three streams of B.A, B.Com and B.Sc. Anjuman college for Women has been consistently producing excellent results for the last eight years by securing ranks at the University level.
In a press release by the college principal, Mrs Rayeesa Shaikh, in BSc final year examination, Aishwarya D/o Govindray Naik secured 7th rank in Karnataka state women's university, Vijayapura. (photo is attached). She scored 3350 out of 3840 with an average of 87.24% She topped in Anjuman college for women in Bhatkal in the BSc section.
In BCom stream, Yusra D/o Muhammed Shuaib M.S stood 4th with an average of 87.68% marks while Umme Haram D/o Muhammed Aslam Gawai secured the 10th rank with 86.61% marks.
In Arts sream, three Anjuman students made it to the top ten rank list. According to the press release, Khairunnisa Suha Faqqi D/o Vania Basha stood 2nd with an average of 87.41%. Fizza Maryam SM D/o Sayed Hussain SM stood 6th with an average of 85.89% and Durrah D/o Mohammed Azeem Ekkeri stood 8th with an average of 85.63%.
These students with their exceptional performance have not only made their whole College proud but also the entire Uttara kannada District.
The principal also credited the lecturers for their brilliant teaching and continuous guidance which helped the students to achieve their goals.
Anjuman president Abdul Raheem Jukaku, General secretary Siddique Ismail and Additional Secretary Ishaq Shabandari congratulated the students and the lecturers for their outstanding performances.
