Udupi: A campaign is set to be launched from 1st September by the Bajrang Dal to boycott the Chinese commodities supporting the nation-wide protest against the Chinese goods.

Speaking at a press meet here on 23rd August, Wednesday, the zonal convener of Bajrang Dal Sharan Pumpwell announced the date of the campaign. “The Chinese products have become a big part of Indian market, but recently they have started to threaten the Indian army in various ways”, he said.

He further said, “The Chinese have kept their armed forces on the border and are also training terrorists with advanced technology to start a war against India. Their intention is to disrupt the internal and external security of India. They are supplying powerful weapons to the Pakistani army.”

Sharan also stated that around 60% of Chinese economy depends upon our nation and if the people start to support 'swadeshi' (indegenous) products and boycott Chinese goods, the government could think about banning them completely. He also called upon all Indians to voluntarily join the campaign against Chinese products and burn them.

Sunil K R, co convener, Dinesh Mendon and Dinesh Hebri were present.
