Bhatkal: In a head-on collision between two motor bikes at Purvarga in the taluk on 30th August, Wednesday, four people were injured and among them one has sustained severe injuries to the head.
The injured have been identified as Abdul Rahman, a resident of Ganesh Nagar near Purvarga, his son Sadiq, Rahil Abdul Kadir( 29 yrs) and Saif from Shiroor.
According to sources, Abdul Rahman and Sadiq were traveling home on a bike when they collided head on with another bike coming from Shiroor to Bhatkal. Rahil, who was riding the bike from Shiroor sustained serious injury to his head due to the collision, while Saif who was riding pillion with him and the two from other bike sustained minor injuries.
All the four were taken to Bhatkal government hospital for first aid and Rahil was later shifted to Kundapur for further treatment.
