Bhatkal: A visit was paid by the Delegation of Majlis e Islah Wa Tanzeem, Bhatkal on 27th September, Wednesday to the house of Ramachandra, who had set himself ablaze during the TMC shops issue and had later died at a hospital. The delegation met Ramachandra’s mother and brother and offered their heartfelt condolence.

On this occasion, Tanzeem president Muzammil Kazia said that Tanzeem wanted the old shop vendors to continue using the shop and were against auctioning them. However, the district deputy commissioner did not agree on this and that is why the auction was conducted.

He further said that they will try their best in order to see that the shops are allotted back to their respective owners as they cannot afford to buy them in auction.

At this moment, he handed over a cash amount of Rs. 25,000 to Ramachandra’s family on behalf of Tanzeem delegation.

Tanzeem General Secretary Mohiddin Altaf Kharoori, former president Inayatullah Shahbandari, D F Siddique and others were present on this occasion.
