Karwar: To mark National Sports Day (Dhyan Chand birth anniversary), Uttara Kannada Zilla Krida Pratishtan organised quiz competition for high school students at various schools in the district on 29th August, Tuesday.

Nearly 1,000 students from 21 high schools of Karwar, Kumta, Siddapur, Haliyal, Joida, Sirsi and other taluks participated in the quiz. As many as 90 awards were given to students in different sections.
