Karwar: The inspection of outboard engine of country boats which run on Kerosene, was held at various beaches and ports in the City on Wednesday.

Tahsildar G N Naik, Assistant Commissioner Shivanand Karale, Food and Civil Supply Department’s S V Naik, Fisheries Department Assistant Director Nagraj Challajjimane inspected the country boats at Majali (Gotnuibag), Aligadda, Mudaga beaches in Karwar taluk premises from 9 am to 6 pm.

Inspection was also held at front beaches of Harwad Government Primary School, Vanalli Beach, Tadadi Port, Alwedande, Sasihittalu, in Kumta taluk, Tonka Kasargod port, Manki Beach in Honnavar taluk, Mundalli Bele, Tenginagundi port in Bhatkal and Murdeshwar beach.
