Bhatkal: An Anganwadi staff, who was reportedly suffering from mental stresses, committed suicide and later died in the hospital. The incident appeared in Todalli village within Murdeshwar limits of Bhatkal taluk.

The deceased woman has been identified as Sharada Ragvendra Naik (32). She was survived by a husband and 4.5-Year-old son.

The police suspect that the reason behind the suicide maybe depression for her health issues. Yet, the actual reason is to be traced.

A case has been registered in a Murdeshwar police station and investigations are on.
