Bhatkal: Three boys from Bengaluru, who were drowning in Arabian sea at Murudeshwar of Bhatkal taluk, were rescued by lifeguards and Pravasi Mitra on 5th June, Monday.
According to sources, Nityananda, Kribha and Surya had come to Murudeshwar with their parents. They preferred to play and swim on the beach while their parents were visiting the temple.
When they were swimming, huge lashing waves washed them away. The lifeguards Appanna and Shashidhar soon rushed to their rescue. Recently, a few tourists were rescued by lifeguards in Gokarna and Kudle beaches of Uttara Kannada.
