Mangaluru: Two more lives were saved by the life guards at Panambur beach on 30^th September, Saturday in addition to the lives of six persons whom they had saved from drowning on Friday.

Deepak (21 yrs) and Prakash (21 yrs) are the ones who were rescued by the lifeguards. Both of them are from Bengaluru.

According to the sources, the duo was playing in the waves when strong waves took charge of the situation. However, the timely action of the life guards saved them from drowning as they were safely brought to the shore.

Around eight lives have been saved by the lifeguards in last two days.
