Karwar: A man was killed on the spot after the bike on which he was travelling had a head on collusion with and SUV near Kadrabalni in Karwar taluk here recently.

The deceased has been identified has been identified as Ravindra Bandekar. According to eye witnesses, the accident took place while Ravindra tried to over take bus and collide with SUV coming from opposite side. While sources said that he died on the spot, police claimed that he died while being shifted to hospital. Kadra Police Station officials have registered a case.
