Karwar: A shocking incident of theft has been reported in the Hyundai showroom at Karwar, where a smart thief convinced the showroom executives and confused them and  successfully managed to steal a serviced car. The incident happened on 15th July, Thursday.

As per the information, Jnanadev Gaonkar, the original owner of the car had given his i-10 vehicle for servicing at Karwar's Hyundai showroom. Later, on the same day afternoon when Gaonkar had come to receive his car, the incident of theft came under light which was not even discovered by the showroom people. This shocked the showroom executives as it has never happened before.

The information was then given to the police. Since there was no CCTV camera installed in the showroom, it was difficult to trace the face of the thief.

Further investigations are going on.
