Rural school in Karnataka scores 100 % CBSE Results

Bagalkot: K. J. Somaiya English Medium School, Sameerwadi, a school in rural Karnataka has achieved 100 per cent results in the recent 10th standard CBSE board exams, in which nine students scored 10 out of 10 CGPA, and five girls are among the ten toppers with 95%

K. J. Somaiya English Medium School, in Bagalkot, Karnataka is an initiative by Godavari Biorefineries Limited in association with Somaiya Vidyavihar. It aims to provide quality education in English medium in rural areas. The school has consistently innovated in teaching methods. From visits by teachers, guest lecturers from Somaiya Vidyavihar, Mumbai as well as visitors from international colleges who share their knowledge to experiential learning.

On this remarkable achievement C Anilkumar, Principal, K J Somaiya English Medium School, Sameerwadi said, “We are proud of our student’s achievement. The school has carved out a niche for itself as one of the best secondary schools in North Karnataka through the contribution of the teachers, parents, children and community.”

K. J. English Medium School has classes from Nursery to X standard affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
