Honnavar: Educational awards ceremony was organized under the aegis of Khaleej Muslim Sharavati Council, where meritorious students of Honnavar and surrounding villages were rewarded for their outstanding achievements on 24th August, Thursday at Pratibhavya Hall in neighboring taluk Honnavar.
“Children are more valuable gems than Kohinoor diamond for their parents. The Almighty has provided them with such gems and it is the responsibility of the parents to shape them, mold them into the right shape. These gems which are more precious than the magnificent Kohinoor diamonds for which people strive just to get a glance, parents must hand them over to esteemed personalities and place them under the guidance of Islamic teachers so that they can lead them into the right path”, said the Chief guest of the programme, chief promoter of Darul Arkham public school, Tumkur Moulana Khalid Baig Nadvi while expressing his views.
Addressing at the occasion, he further added saying that whatever course or degree the Muslim students may pursue such as engineering, medical, management, etc., if it is done in the way shown in the Holy Quran, it will lead them to success.
Khaleej Muslim Sharavati council president Khaja Abkar presided over the program and it was convened by Moulvi Siraj Ahmed Saralagi Nadvi.
The program began with the recitation of Holy verses of Quran by Muhammed Saad Saralagi. Maaviya Muzaffar Shaikh sung the Naath in pleasing tone. Maulana Muzaffar Shaikh welcomed the guests and presented the report of the Council, whereas the students of Valki Ittihad School performed on the occasion.
Canara Khaleej Council President Abdul Khadir Basha Ruknuddin, Secretary General Rabita Society Yunus Kazia, Secretary Canara Khaleej council Abu Muhammed Muktesar, Zubair Manna, Muhammed Hussain Saheb and others were present on the dais.
