Karwar: Karnataka State Fisheries Development Corporation President Rajendra Naik heard the grievances of encroachers on his visit to Sarvodaya Nagar, in Karwar, on 18th August, Friday.

“We have been living here since four decades. We have no property except this place. If officals ask us to vacate the place, nearly 30 families would be on the streets,” the encroachers lamented.

“The court has ordered to clear up the place. So, legal fight is inevitable. I will bring your problems to the notice of Minister R V Deshpande,” Rajendra Naik said.
