Ankola: A case of dowry and harassment was registered against a traffic police sub-inspector at Ankola police station recently. In the complaint, wife of Karwar traffic PSI Prasad Kavari alleged that her husband along with his mother and housemaid have been torturing her mentally and physically from last few years demanding more dowry.

Prasad married Disha in Kumta town in the year 2015. After marriage ,she was living with her husband at his house in Ankola. Within few days of marriage, her husband and mother-in-law started demanding dowry, she stated in her complaint.
