Sirsi: To change outsourcing system of city Muncipal Council, District commissinoer S S Nakul urged CMC Comissioner to call a tender within a month.
After getting information about various works conducted by Municipal Council at an inspection meet, the DC asked to call tender every year for outsources to maintain transparency in administration.
“Before executing any project, Without blueprint how can you plan a project? How will you verify the quality of work?" DC questioned about the delay in construction of houses under housing project.
The 58 people still have not built their houses and this is a matter to concern, and asked to conduct GPS and send him photo proof.
He further said that if the work will not be taken up immediately, no money will be sanctioned.
On the basis of complaint regarding poor quality of work in 2nd stage work of Nagarotthana, Nakul strictly said to appoint planning consellors for each local organisation while implementing 3rd stage works of Nagarotthana.
The city Muncipal Council, Town Muncipal Council and Town Panchayat’s juniors engineers should join the consellors for further works.They will beheld responsible for kind of casualties, he strictly warned.
“If we compare local organisations of other district and states, there are more officers at Sirsi City Municipal Council. But works have not been done in expected range." The workers of CMC have not got their salary in June.
Every month salary should be deposited before 10th else serious action will be taken against HRMS staff and Town Municipal Commissoner, he stated.
He also said awareness should be given to people of some selected wards of city about differentiation of waste.
The Muncipal labours and staff should verify about the people who will not give waste to Muncipal and who throw waste anywhere.
Town Muncipal Commissioner Mahendrakumar, DYDC R P Naik were present on the meeting.
