Ankola: A brick laden truck toppled near Ankola on 3rd October, Tuesday morning, as a result cleaner was killed on the spot, while driver sustained multiple injuries. The incident occurred when the driver lost control of the speedy truck on Sunkasal NH-63 in Ankola taluk when the truck was heading towards Ankola from Kalghatagi.

The deceased cleaner was identified as Shareef (32), a resident of Kalghatagi.

As the information was alerted, the highway patrol police rushed to the spot. They provided first aid treatment to the injured driver.

A case has been registered in Ankola police station.
