Dandeli: One person was killed on the spot, when the bike in which he was riding in met with a crash with the oncoming truck, that reported in Dandeli on 7th June, Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Sadiq, a resident of Kesarwad near Ramnagar. 

Sources say the incident happened when the deceased victim was on the way towards his home after finishing his daily work. He was professionally a businessman, selling wooden logs. He was approaching towards his home towards Ramnagar from Dandeli when a truck belonging to paper mill went on hitting him. 

Due to the impact, he received severe unbearable injuries over his head and body to which he succumbed on the spot.

In this regard, a case has been registered in Dandeli police station.
