Bhatkal: Memorandum submitted demanding transfer of long stay officers and staff.

Bhatkal: A memorandum was submitted to the chief minister through Assistant Commissioner regarding the transfer of few Government officials and employees​ who have stayed for more than five years.

Karnatak Swabhimani Kranti Sangh of Bhatkal have demanded that necessary action must be taken against these officials who are neglecting orders and are showing ignorance towards their work.

The memorandum stated that various officials from Tahsildar office, Police department, Municipality, Taluk Panchayat, Zilla Panchayat and other department have been ignoring their transfer orders on the basis of money and power. Even agents have been appointed to get public works done.

It also stated that government schemes are not being implemented properly. Lot of illegal activities are being conducted at Bhatkal, such as Ganja, Liquor and Gambling, etc. Since, no action was taken even after reporting the above cases earlier. the memorandum was then submitted.

The memorandum was accepted by tahsildar VN Badgar. Karnataka Swabhimani Kranti Sangh district president Ira Naik, General Secretary Kumar Naik, Venkatesh Naik, Kumar Naik, Devendra Naik, Ramchandra Gowda were present.
