Bhatkal: A farmer fainted while working in the field and had his last breath on his way to the hospital on 1st July, Saturday at Helke, Honnimadi in the taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Nagappa Annappa Naik(55), resident of Belke. Due to sudden fall, Nagappa had retained injuries and a swelling in his arm.
He was immediately taken to Bhatkal government hospital and after first aid he was being shifted to Kundapur for further treatment but sadly, he lost his life on the way.
A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station and investigations are being conducted under the supervision of SI M N Chandravar.
