Bhatkal: Al Jamia Sports center of Bhatkal on 16th June, Friday submitted a memorandum to Heble Gram panchayat President and PTO, seeking basic facilities for the Jamia ward.
The contents of the memorandum given to Heble gram panchayat were as follows:
- There are no basic facilities in the Jamiabad road as roads have been fully infiltrated with rain water which has made it muddy.
- The maintainence and repairs of the roads are not being conducted.
- Garbage is not being collected and as a result garbage is being thrown on the streets.
- The inner drains are filled with garbage and hence water is blocked.
- The street lights are not functioning properly.
- The water supply is affected in many places.
These are the basic issues demanded to be solved in the memorandum by the Sports Center.
The road from Jamiabad to Masjid and the road connecting to Jali is filled with muddy/clay water and due to this, pedestrians are facing difficulty over here. Similarly, a demand has been made to construct a speed breaker at Jamiabad rickshaw stand in-front of Satish Shetty Shop.
The Center has asked the panchayat to aid and provide solution to the issues presented in the memorandum as soon as possible.
President Mohammed Irfan Kempa, Secretary Mohammed Sufiyan daddi, Members Mohammed Saleem Alji, Mohammed Rafaqat, Mohammed Suhail and others were present on this occasion.
