Bhatkal: A man from Bengaluru was rescued by lifeguards after he began drowning at Murudeshwar Beach in Bhatkal taluk on Monday.

According to police sources, the man, identified as Dilip Kumar, a resident of Bengaluru, was among a group of three friends visiting the beach when the incident occurred. Lifeguards noticed him struggling in the water and immediately carried out a rescue operation, saving his life.

The timely intervention of the lifeguards and the police personnel helped rescue the man from drowning.
