Bantwal: In connection to the sensational murder case of RSS worker Sharath Madival, four suspects were taken into custody by the police for questioning.

According to sources, the police have narrowed the list of suspects to a handful of people and accordingly have arrested the four persons for questioning. The police are on the hunt for the fifth person involved in the case, who is absconding. He is said to be the prime accused of the incident.

However, after the sleuths of City Crime Branch returned finishing their investigation in Mumbai, the SP Sudheer Kumar Reddy has denied the involvement of Supari (Contract killers) hired from Mumbai in the case. Sources close to the investigation team have also echoed the SP's clarification and said that only locals were involved in the case.

RSS worker Sharath Madival was murdered on the night of 4th July at BC road. Over a month since the incident, the police are yet to make any arrest in the case.
