Kumta: A road accident reported between a car and the bus, in which a bus initially collided with a car and later went on hitting a roadside tree after the bus driver lost the control of the vehicle. The incident happened on 19th June, Monday evening near Torke village in Gokarna of Kumta taluk.

As per the sources, during the incident, the bus was on the way towards Torke village from Kumta, while the car was approaching from opposite direction. In the impact, the bus driver lost the control and further went on hitting a roadside tree.

Luckily, in the incident, all passengers were reported safe. While the front portion of both car and bus were seen damaged.
