Honnavar: As many as 23 fishermen were rescued after the boat in which they were moving in was reportedly capsized due to the high tides in Kasarkod beach here at Honnavar. The incident happened on 27th September, Wednesday night around 10:30 pm.

Sources from Honnavar informed that the incident happened when a group of fishermen were returning after fishing activity in the sea. Three boats rushed near them for rescuing immediately after the incident took place.

The boat which capsized had a name bearing 'Yaseen'.
