Mangaluru: A youth was electrocuted after he came in contact with a live wire while repairing the signboard of a shop at Kallapu, on the outskirts of Mangaluru, on Friday.

The deceased is Wilson Fernandes (26), a resident of Pilar in Thokkottu.

Wilson was running the electrical shop Nelson Auto Electrical Works along with his brother Nelson Fernandes. He had climbed the roof of the shop along with a worker to repair the signboard when he suffered electric shock.
