Yellapur: Umesh Sanu Kochrekar (30), a resident of Jayanthi Nagar in Kiravatti, died on the spot after a car hit his bicycle at the rear end on NH 63 near Kiravatti in Yellapur taluk recently.

The Goa registration car was in high speed when it hit the cycle. Case has been registered against Santano Vedro Lithao (49) who was at the wheels of the car.
