Yellapur: A huge procession rally was taken out from Devi Ground in the town to Tahsildar Office, in which thousands of party workers took part. Later, Bheemanna Naik submitted two sets of nomination papers with Election Officer Ishwar Ullagaddi.

Assets of Naik & family:

The party candidate Bheemanna Naik, who is an agriculturist and businessman has own seven cars, including Toyota Innova, Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra pickup, Ford Endeavour, Volkswagen Polo, and Mahindra pickup Bolero in the name of his wife, son Ashwin and himself.

According to an affidavit submitted with his nomination paper, Bheemanna and his family own movable properties worth Rs 9.56 crore and immovable properties worth Rs 23.31 crore.

Bheemanna has Rs 10.68 lakh in his bank account, while his wife Geetha has Rs 4.22 lakh and son has 5.34 lakh amount deposited in his bank account. 

Bheemanna, who has studied up to the seventh standard, has invested Rs 18.19 lakh in shares. While his wife and his son have purchased shares worth Rs 4.70 lakh and Rs 72,947 respectively.

Bheemanna own gold worth Rs 7.56 lakh and Geetha is an owner of Rs 19.11 lakh worth gold ornaments. Geetha had taken a loan of Rs Rs 20.32 crore, while Bheemanna and Ashwin have loans of Rs 14.92 crore and Rs 98.91 lakh respectively.
