Yellapur: Of the 20 nomination papers submitted by 11 candidates for Yellapur Assembly Constituency by-elections, one paper was rejected after scrutiny of the papers on Tuesday.

Laxman Bansode of Mundgod had filed two sets of papers. While the set of papers filed by him as Congress candidate was rejected, the other filed as Independent candidate was accepted.
