Honnavar: Body of a woman was found in the port area on the banks of river Sharavathi in Honnavar on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Veena Shivanand Pai (47), a resident of Bandehalla in Honnavar. It is suspected that Veena must have ended her life depressed over her ill-health condition. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem.
