Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada DC Dr Rajendra K V has exempted litigants attending Mega Lok Adalat in Mangaluru, Bantwal, Belthangady, Moodbidri, Puttur and Sullia courts from weekend curfew on Saturday (from 10 am to 5 pm).

The litigants participating in the Lok Adalat should produce identity card.

Those arriving from Kerala should produce RT-PCR negative certificate irrespective of vaccination.

Principal District and Sessions Judge Muralidhara Pai B had written to deputy commissioner on the Lok Adalat being conducted via video conferencing facility. But some cases needed physical presence of parties before the adalat benches to work out a settlement, the Judge had stressed while seeking exemption for such litigants from the weekend curfew.
